Nora Ephron absolutely did have a masterful manipulation of words, blending realism with eloquence. Every time a parton approaches me at the shop looking for her work the past two days, we share a brief moment of appreciation and mutual respect. It’s pretty special. Ephron was a pretty special lady. She left a lasting impression on film, writing and women who are involved in either—and neither.
