So I guess someone threw together a bunch of fan-collected Boss material and stitched it to resemble a documentary. The concept behind Springsteen & I seems a little masturbatory. It might be doomed to dullness in the essence that line from Built To Spill’s “Made-Up Dreams”—”No one wants to hear / What you dreamt about unless you dreamt about them.”

Will anyone who doesn’t know another psycho Springsteen fan in the film go see it?

A new study has found that while 12% of teenagers have taken stimulant medication intended for those with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder for non-medical purposes, just 1% of parents think that’s the case, regardless of whether that use is for last-minute studying or recreation.

So why the concern about students using such drugs?

Use of stimulant medication by children without ADHD can lead to acute exhaustion, abnormal heart rhythms, and — if an adolescent becomes addicted and goes into withdrawal — to confusion and psychosis.

Plus, there’s still no scientific consensus on whether medication intended for ADHD actually improves academic performance.

For the small bribe of a Polish candy care package (NYC —> ATL), he drew me up a sweet peregrine feather. In October, my sister will get that same image inked over a childbirth souvenir stretch mark on her hip. For me, it’ll be my admittedly pampered forearm. An ode to my nephew, Thomas Joseph Peregrine, you know.

Canadian geese are outright mean animals. Massive fleets of these little shitheads littered my college campus. They’d kick it on the sidewalk, most concentrated on popular cut-throughs.

However, something we all forget is how giant Canadian geese can get—roughly the size of a tubby toddler. Also, they make a horrible whooping call, sometimes mixed up with angry hissing. So here you are, a stoned 19-year-old liberal arts student, trying unsuccessfully to weave your bike through a honky minefield.

Going to school on a nature preserve was kinda weird.
