WOODS: Cali In A Cup
I saw the new Woods album, Bend Beyond, in my inbox last week but waited until yesterday to download and unzip the file. I wanted to hate them so badly, considering that many describe Woods’ sound as “jam band.” Vom vom vom. But! Here is a record I seriously challenge people to dislike, esp. given this crispness outside as of late. Someone was very smart to hold off its official release until next Tuesday, just on the brink of fall.
