CAT STEVENS: Peace Train
I used to indulge in this incredibly vain fantasy all the time during high school and college. In it, a cop would pull me over for whatever reason (probably speeding), but hear some holy track from my stereo and because of that, pardon my lawbreaking.
During my driving career (the last time I drove was in February, briefly, between LA and San Francisco with a hatchback full of hippies), I got my share of pull-over parties. Only once do I vividly remember what I was listening to when such an ordeal happened. One morning during college I was running late to work and hauling ass down Beach Boulevard when a pig lit up his car and directed me to the side of the road. I was blasting the shit out of this song.
Needless to say, online traffic school is chill.
