This is technically my cat. My parents chose an ad in the paper for free kittens. The house was by Tallahassee Mall and I was in fourth grade.
I nearly picked a dark calico that could have been twins with the one my sister selected but I opted for Clyde at the last minute. I remember sitting with him so tiny and loose, curled up in my lap in the bucket seat.
I am still a little disappointed my mom refused to name him Hanson and a little sorry I left him when I moved from home. But mostly the former.
And yeah. He’s probably one of the biggest cats you’ll ever see. His lair is always a necessary pit-stop on any tour of the Grimm house. Wouldja look at that cat? Also, his eyes have all-seeing abilities, apparently. Something else of note.
